The mental health cap: a quieter way to say it

Not everyone wants a slogan across their chest. The HHSS mental health baseball cap carries the same message at eye level — a small embroidered mark that starts conversations instead of shouting. £22, with £2 from every cap going to Man Down UK. Struggling right now? Samaritans: 116 123.

Why a cap

A hoodie says it to the room. A cap says it to the person in front of you. The embroidered mark sits at eye level, so the message lands in queues, pubs and school runs — the places where a quiet nod actually turns into a conversation.

It is the same Built From Broken message as the rest of the range: Heavy Heart, Strong Soul. If you found us searching for a men's mental health cap, mental health hats in the UK or a suicide prevention cap, this is it — plain, heavy-stitched and made to be worn daily.

The range

Car window stickers are in stock and dispatch within 1–2 working days. Drop 01 is live — early-access members are shopping first; sign up and your private link arrives straight away. Sticker delivery is free. Donated to Man Down UK: £5 Hoodie · £3 T-shirt · £2 Cap · £1 Sticker.

Questions

What is a mental health cap?

A cap that carries a mental health message in public. The HHSS cap is a six-panel cotton cap with a low-key embroidered Heavy Heart, Strong Soul mark — a quieter way to wear the message than a hoodie, and £2 from every one goes to Man Down UK.

Is this a suicide prevention cap?

It is awareness streetwear, not a clinical product, and does not treat or prevent mental-health conditions. It carries a message that can start a conversation. Every purchase helps support Man Down UK's work supporting men's mental health.

Is this a men's mental health cap?

Yes. HHSS is a men's mental health clothing brand first — the cap, the heavyweight hoodies and the tees all carry the same Heavy Heart, Strong Soul message, and every one sends money to Man Down UK, a men's mental health non-profit Community Interest Company (CIC). Anyone can wear it, but the cause it funds is men's mental health.

Do you make other mental health hats or clothing?

The cap is our only hat for now, in Onyx, Bone and Ash. The rest of the range is the heavyweight Built From Broken hoodie (£55, £5 donated) and the 250gsm tee (£30, £3 donated), all delivered across the UK. Drop 01 is live — sign up for early access and shop first.

How much goes to mental health support?

£5 from every £55 hoodie, £3 from every £30 T-shirt, £2 from every £22 cap and £1 from every £5 car window sticker goes to Man Down UK. The donation is built into the price, not added at checkout. Free gift stickers do not carry a donation because nothing was paid for them.

What colours and sizes does the cap come in?

One size with an adjustable plastic snapback closure, in Onyx, Bone and Ash. If you want a closer or looser fit, the rear snapback covers most head sizes comfortably.

Do you deliver across the UK?

Yes, UK only. Car window stickers are in stock now, ship free anywhere in the UK and are dispatched in 1–2 working days. Drop 01 is live — early-access members are shopping first; sign up and your private link arrives straight away, and the shop opens to everyone on Sunday 18 October at 7pm. Order over £50 and a sticker goes in the box free.

Where can I get help right now?

Samaritans on 116 123 is free and open 24/7. CALM is on 0800 58 58 58 between 5pm and midnight, and you can text SHOUT to 85258 at any time. If someone is in immediate danger, call 999.

Where to find help

A cap is not a helpline. These are, and they are free: Samaritans on 116 123 (24/7), CALM on 0800 58 58 58 (5pm–midnight daily) or text SHOUT to 85258 (24/7). In an emergency, call 999.
