Anti suicide clothing & suicide awareness hoodies UK

If you are struggling right now, call Samaritans on 116 123 or CALM on 0800 58 58 58 (5pm–midnight daily). You are not alone — and you are enough. HHSS builds anti suicide clothing for the days after that call — heavyweight hoodies, caps and stickers that carry a suicide prevention message in public and put money into Man Down UK.

Why HHSS exists

Built from broken.

HHSS Built From Broken emblem — a broken skull repaired with acid green

HHSS started from something personal. Heavy Heart, Strong Soul means you can carry something heavy and still stand up straight. Built From Broken means the cracks are part of the story, not the end of it.

You can have a heavy heart and still have a strong soul.

That's why HHSS anti suicide clothing is heavy on purpose. A thick, heavyweight hoodie is something you keep for years, and every time it's worn it tells someone nearby: you're not alone, and it's okay to talk.

Every purchase supports men's mental health through Man Down UK: £5 per hoodie, £3 per tee, £2 per cap and £1 per sticker. If HHSS helps even one person reach out, it has been worth it. Read the full HHSS story.

Beyond the clinical

Search "anti suicide clothing" and most of what comes back is anti-ligature gear built for hospital wards and secure units. That is a serious product category, and it is not ours. HHSS is not a medical supplier and we do not sell clinical garments.

What we make is awareness streetwear. Heavy, plain, built to last, with a message that does not need explaining: Heavy Heart, Strong Soul. It is worn by people who have lost someone, people who nearly became someone else's loss, and people who just want their mates to know the door is open.

Heavyweight loopback fleece

Ours is built from heavyweight loopback fleece, chosen to give the hoodie structure, weight and a premium feel. A small HHSS chest design on the front with the full Heavy Heart Strong Soul artwork across the back. Ribbed hem and cuffs. Drop 01 is live.

More on where it goes: who HHSS supports.

The mental health hoodie

The HHSS mental health hoodie is the centre of Drop 01: heavyweight loopback fleece, an oversized, boxy fit, a small HHSS chest design on the front and full-back Heavy Heart Strong Soul artwork. £5 from every £55 HHSS hoodie goes directly to Man Down UK, a men's mental health non-profit. Drop 01 is live — sign up for early access and shop first.

Suicide prevention clothing

Clothing does not treat or prevent mental-health conditions. HHSS carries a message that can start a conversation. Every purchase helps support Man Down UK's work supporting men's mental health. Every paid HHSS piece carries a donation: £5 per hoodie, £3 per tee, £2 per cap and £1 per sticker. If you need to talk now, call Samaritans free on 116 123, any time.

Questions

Is HHSS anti suicide clothing the same as anti-ligature clothing?

No. HHSS does not make clinical or anti-ligature garments for hospital or custodial settings. We make awareness streetwear — hoodies, caps and stickers that carry a mental-health awareness message and support Man Down UK. If you need clinical anti-ligature products, speak to a specialist medical supplier.

What does anti suicide clothing actually do?

It carries a message that can start a conversation, and every purchase helps support Man Down UK's work supporting men's mental health. A hoodie is not treatment and it does not prevent a crisis.

How much goes to mental health support?

£5 from every £55 hoodie, £3 from every £30 tee, £2 from every £22 cap and £1 from every £5 car sticker. It is built into the price rather than added at checkout. Free gift stickers do not carry a donation because nothing was paid for them.

What weight is the hoodie and what sizes are available?

Heavyweight loopback fleece. OVERSIZED, BOXY FIT. Choose your usual size for the intended HHSS oversized fit. Size down for a closer fit. Sizes M–2XL. — check the size guide for chest and length measurements.

Do you deliver across the UK?

Yes, UK only. Car window stickers are in stock now, ship free anywhere in the UK and are dispatched in 1–2 working days. Drop 01 is live — early-access members are shopping first; sign up and your private link arrives straight away, and the shop opens to everyone on Sunday 18 October at 7pm. Order over £50 and a sticker goes in the box free.

Where can I get help right now?

Samaritans on 116 123 is free and open 24/7. CALM is on 0800 58 58 58 between 5pm and midnight, and you can text SHOUT to 85258 at any time. If someone is in immediate danger, call 999.

Where to find help

A hoodie is not a helpline. These are, and they are free: Samaritans on 116 123, CALM on 0800 58 58 58 (5pm–midnight daily) or text SHOUT to 85258. In an emergency, call 999.
